Colonial Market Sour Edition 2 - Blood Orange & Saltbush

Introducing the second edition of the ‘Market Sour’ Series. Like the first, it’s undergone a more extensive souring process than our core South West Sour. The use of red malts provides a vibrant reddish hue along with supporting malt body and flavour depth. Once fully soured, the whirlpool was loaded with puréed blood orange resulting in assertive citrus character. Then layered with subtle herbal saltiness extracted from local saltbush leaves in the lauter tun. It then underwent a conventional fermentation before finally dry hopping with US Centennial to ripen the overall citrus profile. This is not to be missed
